  • It’s been a pleasure to accompany you on the journey, Peppermint. NEW52 fell by the wayside a little for me, with undocumented weeks (14-17, 26-27, 35-38, 50-52) spread out throughout the year, but I still consider the project worthwhile and a success! It’s spurred me on and in 2012 I’m continuing with it, but with a culinary theme … I’m gathering together a list of 52 recipes that I’ve never cooked before! So thank you for your support & encouragment during 2011 and I hope you & your family have a healthy & happy 2012!!!

  • Suzy

Zing Zang is THE BEST! (notice how I totally ignore all that crap about soul searching and finding one’s inner self?) Just get to the good stuff. The salami and pickles look like a decent thing to try, too.

  • I can’t say it enough and I’ll say it again: you and Christine have been such inspirations to me with New52. I went through my year missing only about 8 weeks–quite a feat for me! My problem now is getting it all properly documented TOGETHER. It’s all a mishmash of stuff in a text file and a folder of images, lol. I have no idea if I’ll be blogging or even putting them in an album, but it’s been an amazing process :)

And I’ve been wanting to read The Happiness Project FOREVAH. Yet another push to go get it now then! Thanks! :)

  • I’m looking forward to starting my NEW52 in 2012. Last year was filled with plenty of new, but nothing organized or consciously documented :) This year I hope to be more mindful. Thanks so much for all of your inspiration!

  • I’ve enjoyed this incredible journey with you in 2011, my friend. I would promise to make a photo book of my experience, but I’d feel bad if I don’t get to it. I’d like to though. And since they’re all already documented on my blog, it won’t be difficult. So overwhelmed with gratitude about both of us completing this project and enjoying the journey.

  • I love Bloody Marys (Maries?), as well. I have never seen Zing Zang mix. A tour boat here in Seattle makes good ones and I asked for their recipe: Ocean Spray Bloody Mary Mix. Sadly, I can only find it in huge crates at Amazon. :(

Thank you for sharing your weeks with us. I look forward to hearing your ‘ponderings and pontifications’.
