I’m beyond thrilled to be able to team up with Amy Martin ( blog | store | newsletter ) to create a holiday collection for 2011. I met Amy a few years ago, another friendship forged through scrapbooking. We participated on creative teams together, I worked more closely with her when I was a part of The Lilypad’s creative team (The Pollywogs) from about 2008-2010, and then she joined my creative team in 2010.
I’ve often talked about how Amy is my go-to template person (mentioned it here, and on The Digi Show here), I feel like everyone should have one. I’ve used a lot of templates from a lot of different designers and Amy’s make me feel as though she’s inside my head. (A scary place to be!) I think it’s important that everyone find their “right people” and Amy Martin is definitely one of my right people.
But she’s more than just templates! She’s a complex woman, that Amy Martin.
Star On Top contains 22 papers, over 80 elements, three of Amy’s awesome 12×12 page templates and two 4×6 holiday photo card templates. We wanted it to be holiday, and we wanted it to be BIG – so that it’s suitable for a variety of December projects. Because December is full of projects, isn’t it?
You’ll save 20% on Star On Top, and when you purchase the kit you’ll also receive the Star On Top 3×4 Journaling Cards as a complimentary gift. Add both products to your cart and let the cart work its magic.
Both offers end 11/28/2011, so hurry in!

This is really very lovely. I love Christmas kits that aren’t just the regular hearts and Santas. Knew I could count on you for that!

I’m super new to DigiScrapbooking. I can count on one hand the number of products I have purchased so far and I am still in my PSE 10 trial period (just purchased it and this kit on Black Friday). I get such a kick out of listening to you on the digi show, Peppermint. I love this contemporary Christmas kit! I do have a quick question. Do you have any tips for the Layered journaling card templates? I was wondering whether it was possible to type on the lined cards or should those be used more as just a printable? I’d like to use them with some Project Life page protectors I bought. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays! PS-I bought your holiday cards too and word art. The cards are the best, clean designs I have seen yet (Just my style!) and the word art hit the bulls eye for Christmas projects!
Peppermint
You should DEFINITELY type right on them and then print them out. I always include a PSD file for just that purpose. Load it up in PSE and then type your journaling out on the cards before you print them. Sooo much easier than writing on them (I can’t fit as much on my cards if I hand-write them).
Or if you only want to do one or two cards (as in, you don’t have 6 cards worth of journaling ready) then just create a new 11.5″ x 8.5″ document in PSE, drag the 1-2 (or more) individual PNG files on there that you want to print and add your text before printing.

Thanks Peppermint!

I bought this kit. It is just beautiful. Thank you. I was wondering if the white background paper you used to make your journaling cards is sold anywhere? Perhaps in one of your kits? I love the texture on it.
Peppermint
I don’t think it is, now that I look at it. I think the closest thing to it would be the white paper in La Belle Vie. It’s hard to see the texture in the preview on the white paper, but the yellow paper shows it fairly clearly.
Stacy
I’m crushed. That white paper is the perfect background paper for a million projects. Do you think you might sell it sometime soon? As for La Belle Vie…I bought the kit already. It’s great too. But, I really love the white in your journaling cards.
