Flip Calendar & Stitched Antique Frames

I’m so totally jazzed about these two element packs that I added to my store as a final “hurrah” in 2010. They’ve been on my To Do list for a couple of weeks and I had a fit of productivity fueled by sugary holiday treats.

My Flip Calendar element pack was actually inspired by the little calendar icon on my Droid – of all things. I loved the retro Roladex appearance of it on my screen and wanted some date elements for my scrapbook pages along the same lines. I created these as layered PSD files so that you can customize the colors to suit your page, and the sticker background is separate in case you want a stamped/rub-on look. You just “unhide” the layers that correspond to the date that you want and it’s ready for your page. I thought they’d be really fun for everyday use and for all the Project 365ers out there who are gearing up for January 1.

I also added this pack Stitched Antique Frames, which are extremely customizable, too. I like having element packs around that aren’t set in stone. Each of these stitched scrollwork frames come in white, brown and black stitches and they can be “stitched” directly to your background or you can use the enclosed clipping masks to make paper backs for them to created frames with stitched borders. I included shadowed and unshadowed versions of the actual stitching, also.
