New Releases {03.05.10}

I’m never sure if that should be “release” if it’s just one product, but “new release” sounds sort of wrong, doesn’t it? I may have to just start saying “NEW STUFF Y’ALL!!” because that always sounds awesome.

Oh how I love this new kit. Maybe it’s because the streets and sidewalks here in Wisconsin are stuck in the Winter/Spring purgatory that happens ever year – where the days are warmer and the snow is melting, but you’re not quite sure whether it’s safe to emotionally invest in it. And I really really want to invest in it!

A couple of weeks ago one of the creative team members at CatScrap asked me if I’d be willing to tackle a Spring Rain kit, and she had the whole thing planned out in her mind – the colors, the mood, the elements. It was all so inspiring I started working on it right away while also finishing up other projects. She’d already nailed down all the important parts, so I was honored to try to bring it to life for her.

You can pick it up in-store now, and don’t forget to use the 20% off coupon in my last post to save yourself some dough!  And speaking of dough, two of my closest friends today were like “Why does your coupon say lucky 130 lbs?” And I was thinking to myself “What in the world are they talking about?” then I went and looked at it.  It’s actually “lucky13″ and then “OLB” (for one little bird) because 13 is my lucky number.  So, sorry if that confused anyone else.  Haha.  It’s an “o” not a zero.

I’ll be back with CT inspiration this weekend, as well as some inspiration from my portion of The Digi Files. My cup truly runneth over in this department, I’m really blessed to have so many amazing artists who feel inspired to use these products I make – and this week, once again, was an embarrassment of riches from my CT and the CatScrap CT. So many of these artists create very nuanced, intricate pages that just can’t be showcased properly in a 3×6 grid of thumbnail layouts.
