Ugh, how cute is this?

I’m always on the look-out for camera bags for my Nikon. I have two, utilitarian (read: ugly) bags right now, one that holds all of my camera wadgets and another bag that’s just big enough to house the camera itself – and that’s it. It’s great for when I just need the camera – no flash, no lenses, just the camera. However, all of this is a somewhat useless topic because my camera really doesn’t have much of a social life to speak of. I often say “have camera … will travel” but the truth of the matter is my camera doesn’t log a lot of geographical miles in a year.

Nevertheless! How cute is this bag?

It’s the Bowler camera bag from Acme Made ($39.95 USD)  It gives me joy joy feelings.  I’m not sure that it’s any more practical than the small bag I have now, except that it looks like I could at least stuff my SB-600 flash unit or an additional lens in there – which I can’t do now.  But really, does any of that matter when it’s just cute and inexpensive?  I’m not sure that it does.  I definitely wouldn’t mind lugging it around at a school program, but I think I’d have a hard time convincing Tom to carry this one around.  Haha.
